Testimonial – Ping

My son is an elementary school student who joined the newly launched immersive program, and it turned out to be such a wonderful experience for him. He spent a month in Vancouver attending a local summer camp and receiving personalized 1:1 lessons tailored to his beginner level.

What made this program stand out to us was how it blended classroom learning with real-world experiences. Through various field trips, they got to truly live what they were learning.

Ping still talks about his first time taking the ferry, visiting the beach, watching a movie, biking through the park, and exploring local gems like the library, bookstore, shopping mall, and some of Vancouver’s most iconic landmarks.

Each day offered something new, a chance to learn English in meaningful, memorable contexts. The immersive lessons were uniquely designed to connect language to environment. Instead of memorizing words from a textbook, the students learned vocabulary through real-life context, for example, learning the word ‘ferry’ while actually riding one, or ‘bookstore’ while reading books. This natural way of learning made it much easier for kids to understand, remember, and apply what he learned.

By the end of the program, we noticed how much more confident, curious, and expressive he had become. It wasn’t just a month of studying, it was a month of discovery, independence, and life long memories. We’re truly grateful for the care and creativity that went into making this program so meaningful.
